Always in our hearts
Asleep in Christ Jesus
Asleep in Jesus
At rest with God
At rest with God. Rest in Peace.
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning we will remember them
Beloved of the Lord
Death is only a shadow across the path to heaven
Entered into rest
Everlasting life through Christ
Forever in our hearts
God could not have made earthly ties so strong to break them in eternity
Gone, but not forgotten
Hasten, oh blessed hour or reunion
He gave thee, He took thee, and He will restore thee
He longest lives who most to others gives, himself forgetting
Home with God, which is far better
I shall but love thee better after death
In Loving Memory of
Loving memories last forever
May the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace
Not lost to memory! Not lost to love! But gone to our Father's house above
Rest in thine, sweet memory ours
Step softly, a dream lies buried here
Sweetly sleeping
The song is ended, but the melody lingers on
To live in the hearts of those we love is never to die
Too well loved to ever be forgotten
Until we meet again
What we keep in memory is ours unchanged forever
Your love will light my way, your memory will ever be with me

She appreciated every moment because
she knew she might never be able
to experience it again.
She took in all the wonders of life,
wrapped them in a colorful package
and gave it to us. We'll miss you!
She did more than exist, she lived.
She did more than listen, she understood.
Rest peacefully, dear.
Goodbye to a wonderful mother and grandmother.
She lived a long and wonderful life, and was loved
by all who knew her. She will be dearly missed,
but will live on in our hearts for generations.
Sleep on, sweet mother and wife,
And take thy rest, God called thee home
He thought it best
Mother thou art gone to rest, and this shall be our prayer
That when we reach our journey's end
His glory we may share
There's magic in a Mother's touch,
and sunshine in her smile.
There's love in everything she does
to make our lives worthwhile.
We can find both hope and courage
Just by looking in her eyes.
Her laughter is a source of joy,
her words are warm and wise.
There is a kindness and compassion
to be found in her embrace,
and we see the light of heaven
shining from a Mother's face.
May God grant you eternal rest, dear Mother
She concealed her tears but shared her smiles
God took her home, it was his will, but in our hearts she liveth still
God bless thee wheresoe'er thou art in his great universe today
She is resting peacefully with Jesus in that beautiful home above
Her memory is enshrined in our hearts
Her friendship was an inspiration, her love a blessing
Resting with those she loved
She served and kept the faith
She walked in beauty
Her friends were her world
She loved people and laughter
She would rather give than receive
God called her from among us to a home of eternal rest
Always loving: always loved
To know her was to love her
She gave so much and demanded so little
Her children arise up and call her blessed
A mother is a mother still, the holiest thing alive
Grace was in all her steps, heaven in her eye, in every gesture dignity and love
When she had passed, it seemed like the ceasing of exquisite music
She passed through glory's morning gate and walked in paradise

He will praise Him with a righteousness heart.
Dad -- Peace be with you.
God has called this man home to heaven.
My son -- Keep your Father’s commandments.
My son, attend unto my wisdom and bow thine ear to my understanding.
He that walketh with wise men shall be wise, but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.
He shall love thee O Lord which is his strength.
He shall sing with the angels.
Humor was his friend, the world his audience.
His memory will be forever.
A gentle man and a gentleman.
His last words were, "I am going to see my Jesus"
Brother, Cast your burden upon the Lord, for He is Good.
With men it is impossible, but not with God for with God all things are possible.
He will be loved and missed forever.
He is walking on the streets of gold.
He is a chosen one of God.
This man is sailing on the wings of eagles.
He always held a grateful heart.
He always fought a good fight of faith.
DAD
We'll always remember that special smile,
that caring heart, that warm embrace, you always gave us.
You being there for Mom and us
through good and bad times, no matter what.
We'll always remember you Dad because
they'll never be another one to replace you in our hearts,
and the love we will always have for you.

Firemen’s Prayer
When I am called to duty, God, whenever flames may rage.
Give me strength to save some life, whatever be its age.
Help me embrace a little child before it is too late
Or save an older person from the horror of that fate.
Enable me to be alert and hear the weakest shout,
And quickly and efficiently to put the fire out.
I want to fill my calling and to give the best in me,
To guard my every neighbor and protect his property.
And if, according to my fate, I am to lose my life;
Please bless with your protecting hand my children and my wife.

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
-
Not how did he die, but how did he live.
Not what did he gain, but what did he give.
These are the units to measure the worth
of a man as a man, regardless of birth.
-
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die.
-
Each night we shed a silent tear,
As we speak to you in prayer.
To let you know we love you,
And just how much we care.
Take our million teardrops,
Wrap them up in love,
Then ask the wind to carry them,
To you in heaven above.
-
A rose once grew where all could see,
Sheltered beside a garden wall,
And, as the days passed swiftly by,
It spread its branches, straight and tall.
One day, a beam of light shone through
A crevice that had opened wide-
The rose bent gently toward its warmth
Then passed beyond to the other side.
Now, you who deeply feel its loss,
Be comforted - the rose blooms there-
It's beauty even greater now,
Nurtured by God's own loving care.
-
Your gentle face and patient smile
With sadness we recall
You had a kindly word for each
And died beloved by all.
The voice is mute and stilled the heart
That loved us well and true,
Ah, bitter was the trial to part
From one so good as you.
You are not forgotten loved one
Nor will you ever be
As long as life and memory last
We will remember thee.
We miss you now, our hearts are sore,
As time goes by we miss you more,
Your loving smile, your gentle face,
No one can fill your vacant place.
-
As a well-spent day brings happy sleep, so a life well used brings happy death.
~Leonardo da Vinci
-
If tears could build a stairway,
and memories a lane, I’d walk
right up to heaven and bring you
home again.
-
A gift for such a little while,
your loss just seems so wrong,
you should not have left before us,
it’s with loved ones you belong.
